Put me on that list of loving this…feeling your words in my heart today. Thank you for sharing.

Aw, thanks. How is your heart doing? How is the book coming?

My heart is doing better….in a way. I am feeling bad for my husband as he feels terribly unloved by friends, family and, of course, me. My heart breaks for him. But that’s another story…for today. The book is slow going. Every time I pick it up…you know, it’s like the phone. Your kid wants nothing to do with you until you want to do something yourself. Thanks for asking…and thanks for your support. How are things going on your end?

        • lily2u1 says:

Well some parts of the book are better than others–the good parts are the parts that make me feel that my emotions and trajectories are usual! (There are so many variations of those that many were included, and of course not all apply.)
A heart breaking for any reason is sad. I hope that all works out, for you and everyone.
I am more or less fine, restless, getting my bearings.
Thank you for asking and visiting! ~ Lily

Truly a kind poem…gentle and longing

  5. So very beautifully written, Lily! Love the softness of the photo, too!

Thank you, I think a soft-flower compliment coming from such a master of that genre is fine indeed. : ) ~ Lily

      • I am no ‘Maestra’…merely someone who began behind the lens about 63 and a half years ago, when my Dad allowed me to take some shots with a (then) very heavy Kodak bellows camera.

Photoshop was given to me seven years ago by a friend who said, “Learn it!”…so I taught myself, and continue to do so.

You, however, are a much better writer than I, and well on your way to becoming a great photographer!

        Have a beautiful night!

Self-taught? You are amazing! Loved your flower photos and painting today!
Beautiful dreams to you, too! I hope I dream of magnolias, and rain-kissed tulips and pansies.

  10. Thank you for your words, Lily. Beauty certainly resonates with us both, and your flower…I love flowers, they are a beauty that helps me “fill the empty” parts of my being. I have a facebook page for BellaBleue and I’d really love to share what you have to say on it….of course with the credit given to you. Would you mind? Let me know. Blessings, Erin

  12. What a beautiful way to heal the heart. And something we can all do for each other with a smile, a word, a hug, or a flower. You touched my heart with this lovely poem and picture.
