Be Still, Says My Heart. (a poem)

.

Be gentle dear,

she says to me,

You are so bruised,

So bruised, I see.

I am so close, I feel your pain,

I hold a cache

From that tight rein:

Your tears of lash

Your years of strain.

I feel you stretch, I feel that too,

You venture out,

Intrepid you.

I see that Soul, a friend of mine,

She holds you gently,

Reflects divine.

Hold on, hold on,

I beat, I implore,

Hold on, hold on,

This is Life–

(She skips a beat.)

Hold on my dear,

There will be more.

I try to always make time for my frenz, even if I don’t have it to give, what’s another minute or two out of your busy day to let someone know you care…really at the end of the day it makes a big difference to the person you gave the time to….Peas as always…Jaz
